Vancouver
Vancouver wasn’t what I expected. I kicked off the trip with dinner, but not the usual kind – I ended up eating with a bunch of strangers, which forced me to step out of my comfort zone. Unusual? Yes, but it turned into one of the most memorable nights of the trip. I enjoyed connecting with everyone and learning about all the cool places I could visit while in Vancouver.
After that, I hit the waters for some whale-watching and saw so much more. I spotted seals, humpbacks, and eagles – it was a vibe. Of course, I had to deal with Vancouver’s infamous traffic, but thankfully the city isn’t that big.
Then came the Grouse Grind. I thought my cardio was on point, but this hike goes straight up 2,800 feet – felt like I was seconds away from meeting Jesus at the halfway mark. Not for the faint of heart. But as much as I hated every step, spotting a couple of bears on the mountain made it worthwhile.
I really enjoyed my time in Vancouver, so I hope you all enjoy the shots I took along the way. Images were shot on my X-T30 and my S20.
