It was only an eight-hour layover in Turkey, but it was still a worthwhile experience. This was a big group trip with my friends, which rarely happens, so I enjoyed every minute of it. We were able to go on a tour around Istanbul and see sights like the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The architectural designs were amazingly intricate, and I was blown away by how they treat the stray dogs and cats in the city. Every animal on the street is vaccinated and receives regular health check-ups from mobile vet vans that travel around Istanbul. We only scratched the surface due to time constraints, but Turkey will definitely be a place I return to. Here are my photos from Istanbul, all shot on my S20.
