My second trip to Arizona, and my second entry for the year. This time, I was braving the intense heat of 100+ degree weather. I actually burned my hand trying to open my car door one morning; I really don’t know how people in Phoenix walk outside during the summer months. After fifteen minutes of sun exposure, I began to slowly bake like cookies in the oven, I made sure to never again venture too far from my AC while in Phoenix.
All that being said, the sweat was worth it as I got to catch up with friends, laughing as we sped down the river, tubing and soaking in the views. The highlight of the trip was driving to the iconic Grand Canyon; I truly couldn’t grasp how vast it was until I saw it in person. Check out my photos from the vibrant landscape of Arizona.
